Prior to the start of the design process, the BUYER is required to submit a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted price for the project. The remaining balance of the quote will be due and payable upon BUYER’S approval of the Design Board proof prior to production. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS Cancellations are non-refundable once design has begun; design will initiate upon receipt of deposit and and will be acknowledged by the SELLER with an initial Design Board, which is created for every order Orders may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged for any reason.PURCHASE TERMS By agreeing and signing below, BUYER certifies that agreement has been read thoroughly. BUYER also understands and agrees to the following SELLER's (Victoria York Design) terms.All deposits are non-refundable, and BUYER has read and understands the Cancellation Policy as listed above. Design work will not commence until an executed contract and deposit is recorded.*AgreeBUYER will receive a digital Design Board proof of the project. The Design Board will illustrate the finished product. BUYER understands that final approval of the Design Board proof acknowledges that the BUYER has thoroughly reviewed it for accuracy including but not limited to wording, spelling, dates/times, design, and all other content and style, and has confirmed that it is error free and has met all of BUYER’S requirements. Please note that once the BUYER has given approval, the BUYER will bear the final responsibility for the design and typographical elements of the order. The SELLER may make slight formatting adjustments without notice. BUYER will be solely responsible for all costs for reprinting due to errors identified after BUYER’s approval of the proof. Refunds will not be given once production has started. No final print work will be started until BUYER has confirmed acceptance of the proof in writing or email.*AgreeA guest list template spreadsheet, with a quantity summary, will be provided by the SELLER and must be completed and received no later than final approval. Errors in quantity estimates made without the guest list completion may incur additional costs, including payment for original communicated quantity when actual number of guests is less than anticipated or expediting supplies if actual number of guests is greater than anticipated.*AgreeAll design, images, fonts and concepts are subject to copyright and may not be reproduced, copied, printed or used for any other reason without express consent by the SELLER. Any concepts created throughout the design process, whether they are used in the final product or not, remain the intellectual property of SELLER. The SELLER reserves the right to use such concepts in both digital and physical portfolios, including, but not limited to, use on SELLER's website and social media, promotional items, or as samples in the SELLER’s studio.*AgreeThe guest list will be used by SELLER for guest addressing on envelopes via digital calligraphy. A spreadsheet template will be provided with detailed instructions and quantity summary. The detailed instructions include addressing etiquette for beautifully addressed envelopes. However, SELLER will print names and addresses verbatim from the spreadsheet and cannot be responsible for errors submitted in the spreadsheet template. An additional fee applies for digital calligraphy.*AgreeInvitation items requiring tape or glue (e.g., invitation layers, envelopes with liners, and layered belly bands) will be attached by the SELLER. Due to the handmade nature of the goods created and purchased, BUYER understands there may be very slight variations in each item. The BUYER is responsible for the assembly of the final product and preparation for mailing. The SELLER offers assembly services and pricing depends on the complexity of the final piece. Please ask for quote.*AgreePostage is the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract. SELLER makes no implied claims or warranties for the cost of postage to mail products.
